The rules for using Ceiling Fan AI: who may use it, what you may upload, how credits and subscriptions work, and what we owe you when something fails.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 years old and must have the right to use every photo you upload. By uploading a photo you confirm that you either appear in it yourself or have the permission of the person who does. Do not upload photos of children, of other people without their consent, or of anyone who has asked you not to.
What you may not upload
Sexual or nude imagery, content that sexualises minors in any form, harassment, hateful imagery, real-person sexual deepfakes, and material you do not own the rights to are all prohibited. Prompts and images are screened before generation and results are screened again before release. Requests that fail these checks are refused and the credits are returned. We may suspend an account that repeatedly attempts prohibited content.
Credits, prices and what a credit buys
Generations are paid for with credits. A standard video — 720p for 12 seconds — costs 10 credits; the default delivery, 1080p for 12 seconds, costs 30. Prices and the credit cost of each option are shown on the pricing page and in the studio before you generate, and the price charged is the price displayed at that moment. We may change prices for future purchases; a purchase already made is not repriced.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
A subscription renews automatically at the interval you chose until you cancel it. Monthly credits arrive each billing month and expire at the end of that month; yearly credits arrive once and are valid for the billing year. One-time credit packs never expire. Cancelling stops future renewals, and any credits you have already paid for remain usable until the period they belong to ends. You can cancel from the billing page in your settings.
Failed generations
If a generation fails, or is refused by moderation, the credits it consumed are returned to your balance. If a generation succeeds, the credits are spent and the result is yours to use. A failure is not billed, and a successful generation is not refunded merely because you dislike the outcome — the tool is generative and results vary, which is why the pricing page and this page both say so before you buy.
Your content and ours
You keep ownership of the photos you upload and of the videos the service generates for you. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process and display your content in order to run the service — including sending it to our model and moderation providers, and showing a clip in the public gallery if you choose to publish it. We keep ownership of the site, its copy, its presets and its software.
Availability and liability
The service depends on third-party model providers and may be unavailable or slower at times, and results are provided as-is without a guarantee of a particular quality or outcome. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the generation in question. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
